Vetiver Essential Oil (Vetiveria zizanoides — Java) is steam-distilled from the roots of the vetiver grass, known throughout the Indian Subcontinent as Khus, Rus Khus, or Khus-Khus. Its earthy, woody, musky aroma is deeply grounding and cooling — one of the most tranquil and centering oils in aromatherapy, with a rich tradition of use in Ayurvedic and perfumery traditions.
