How to Use: Fill a cup, bowl, or incense burner with earth or sand. Light the charcoal on the bottom edge until it begins to ignite, then set it on the earth or sand. Let sit briefly until the coal glows, then place resin or powder on top. Coals burn for approximately one hour — continue adding incense as needed.

Re-use Tip: To save an unfinished coal, cover the unused portion with a glass or metal container to cut off oxygen. It will extinguish within a minute or two and can be re-lit by holding it with pliers.
