Garlic Essential Oil (Allium sativum) carries a pungent, sulfurous aroma that is unmistakably powerful — and so are its therapeutic properties. One of nature’s most potent medicinal plants, garlic has been used across cultures for millennia to prevent infection, boost immunity, and support whole-body health. A little goes a very long way.
Aromatherapy Properties: Widely known for its ability to prevent infection and treat a broad range of ailments including ear infections, congestion, high blood pressure, and immune challenges. Antimicrobial, anti-cancer, and immune-boosting.
Key Benefits:
- Bactericidal, antiseptic, and detoxifying — effective for treating acne and skin infections
- Decongestant — treats catarrh, sinusitis, and bronchitis
- Gastrointestinal support — settles upset stomach, treats GI infections, dysentery, and digestive complaints
- Treats scabies, ringworm, skin parasites, and calluses (best combined with lavender)
- Supports heart health, lowers cholesterol, and helps manage blood pressure
- Supports treatment of tuberculosis, hepatitis, pneumonia, and respiratory and urinary infections
- Powerful insect and pest repellent — effective on the body and in the garden (use sparingly)
Suggested Use: Best used diluted — 2 drops in 1 oz of carrier oil (shake well before use). Not recommended for diffusing alone due to its extremely potent aroma. Blends well with lavender and peppermint: diffuse 1 drop garlic, 2 drops peppermint, and 4 drops lavender to ease illness symptoms.
Blending: Blends well with lavender, peppermint, citronella, and basil.
Therapeutic grade, uncut, and alcohol-free — poured into the bottle size of your choice.
