Copal Resin — Clear White Copal (Mexican Frankincense). A gum resin produced from various tropical trees, Copal is often called Mexican Frankincense for its similarly bright, clean, and uplifting fragrance. Its main energy is for purification, meditation, and consecration — making it a staple of Mesoamerican sacred tradition and a beloved resin for clearing and cleansing spaces.

How to Burn: Fill a cup, bowl, or incense burner with earth or sand. Light charcoal on the bottom edge until it begins to ignite, then set it on the earth or sand. Let sit briefly until the coal glows, then place resin on the charcoal. Coals burn for approximately one hour — continue adding resin as needed. Note: once lit, charcoal cannot be extinguished and re-lit.
